A private hour to go where the circle cannot take you alone.
This is a private, one-on-one session for women who have attended a Book Club gathering and want to go further, to take what stirred in you during the chapter and bring it into the specific, particular terrain of your own life. In the group, we witness each other. Here, I witness you.
What This Session Is For
Sometimes a myth cracks something open that a single evening isn't enough to hold. A detail in Bluebeard's chamber that unsettled you. A moment in Vasalisa's darkness that felt too familiar. The Skeleton Woman's bones rattling against a grief you haven't named yet.
This session is the space to follow that thread, not as literary analysis, but as a psychological and symbolic mirror for what is actually happening in your life right now.
Together, we might:
- Deepen your personal connection to the chapter's central image or figure, and what it's illuminating in your own psyche
- Trace the pattern where this archetype, wound, or instinct shows up in your relationships, your work, your body, your history
- Work symbolically with dreams, active imagination, or embodiment practices tied to the material
- Make meaning of what surfaced in the group but didn't have room to land
- Set intentions or small, concrete practices to carry the chapter's medicine into daily life before we meet again
- Hold whatever else arises, grief, anger, longing, confusion, with clinical depth and without rushing you toward resolution
This is not therapy, though it draws from my training as a Jungian psychoanalyst. It is a focused, sacred hour of one-to-one depth work, held with the same rigor and reverence as the circle itself.
Who This Is For
Women who left the last session with something unfinished. Women who want individual attention on a pattern the group discussion touched but didn't resolve. Women ready to move from insight into integration.
Format
- 60 minutes, via Zoom
- Best booked while the chapter is still alive in you, don't let too much time pass before the thread goes cold.
