The Major Arcana as a map of the psyche.
 
Tarot has always been more than fortune-telling. Long before it became a tool for divination, the Major Arcana was already a sequence of archetypal images, a symbolic journey through initiation, ego, shadow, and Self. Carl Jung recognised this. He saw in the cards what he saw in dreams, myths, and alchemical texts: the same unconscious structures, wearing different clothes.
 
This course teaches Tarot through that lens. Each of the 22 Major Arcana is paired with a corresponding Jungian concept or archetype, as a genuine framework for understanding both the card and the psychological process it represents. The Fool becomes the archetype of the puer/puella and the leap into individuation. The Tower becomes ego-disintegration and the necessary collapse before transformation. The World becomes the Self, integrated and whole.
 
By the end, you won't just know what each card "means", you'll understand why, psychologically, it means that. And you'll have a symbolic language that works in both directions: reading the cards to illuminate the psyche, and understanding the psyche through the cards.
